About Shantaé Motley
I seek to create a class environment that is conducive to effective learning and that provides instruction on how to take course knowledge and make it applicable to practitioner duties. Students can benefit from my vast industry experience, including work as a juvenile probation officer for Galveston County in Texas, a One Court One Judge Program Evaluator, and a Trauma-Informed Care Advisory Research Committee Member for the Texas Alliance of Child and Family Services.
I’ve also served as an assistant professor and program coordinator at Prairie View A&M University. In addition, I’ve published in several journals and worked as director of research and reporting at the Texas Juvenile Justice Department.
