We are heartbroken for students, employees, and alumni of The College of Saint Rose. Saint Rose has a special place in our higher education community in the Capital Region, and we have Saint Rose alumni among our employees, alumni, and friends. 

Russell Sage College is here to provide a supportive landing for students who need to finish their degrees. Like Saint Rose, we are committed to offering an affordable education that sets students up for success in a number of fields, including teaching and school administration, nursing and other health professions, business, psychology and counseling, criminal justice, and more, and provides graduate students with flexible master’s and doctoral programs.

We were able to work through our financial challenges a number of years ago to a place of stability and strength, but we understand that not every institution has the circumstances to withstand this unprecedented and challenging time for higher education. We are sad to be faced with losing such a respected and treasured neighbor in our community and will continue to offer our support to the wonderful community at Saint Rose in every way possible.
