Phil Theta Kappa Honor Roll 2023 badge

Russell Sage College has been celebrated for its success with transfer students for the fourth year in a row.

Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, a premier honor society recognizing the academic achievement of students at associate degree-granting colleges, has named Russell Sage among 208 colleges and universities nationwide on its 2023 Transfer Honor Roll.

The Transfer Honor Roll is determined by 40 key metrics related to the support and success of transfer students, including college cost and financial aid, campus life for transfer students, admission practices, and bachelor’s degree completion. Colleges completing the PTK Connect profile are given a Transfer Friendliness Rating. The Honor Roll is chosen from among the top 25% highest-rated colleges.

Russell Sage prides itself on its support of transfer students, accepting up to 75 credits with a C- or higher in those courses and awarding a guaranteed minimum merit scholarship of $16,500 annually.
