About the ICAN Summit
A diverse region should have a diverse healthcare workforce that understands the cultural nuances, linguistic diversity, and social determinants of health prevalent within their communities.
This two-day summit for K-12 and higher education instructors and administrators, healthcare professionals and advocates, health science students, and policymakers, creates a powerful environment where diverse voices explore innovative and equitable solutions toward better community health while also alleviating healthcare workforce shortages.
Who will attend?
Approximately 300 participants are expected for day one of the event, including K-12 and higher education instructors and administrators, healthcare professionals and advocates, health science students, and policymakers. Day two is expected to draw 250 primary and secondary school students and their families and caregivers, as well as educators.
