The Center for Teaching & Learning at Russell Sage College promotes excellence in teaching and enhanced student learning, cultivates learning communities, and supports the scholarship of teaching and learning among faculty.
Academic Year Goals
- develop a professional learning community around the importance of teaching and learning through discussion of best practices and research
- support faculty at all levels in experimenting and discovering a variety of teaching methods for today’s higher education
- promote the scholarship of teaching and learning
How We Do This
Through monthly conversations and department-level meetings, The Center for Teaching & Learning brings professional development directly to faculty to promote a commitment to assessment and appropriate pedagogy and andragogy practices.
