Occupational Therapy Program Occupational Therapy Program- 1. Students take the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) exam once their clinical work is completed. This is a national exam and the results can then be sent to the individual states a student wishes to apply for an occupational therapy license to practice. 2. Students must apply to each state that they want to practice in.
