The School of Management at Russell Sage College has received reaffirmation of its specialized accreditation through the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE) located at 11374 Strang Line Road in Lenexa, Kansas.

The re-accreditation process required a rigorous self-evaluation; a comprehensive peer review; and demonstrated compliance with the IACBE’s accreditation standards related to assessment, strategic planning, curriculum, faculty, scholarly and professional activities, internal and external relationships, international business education and educational innovation.

Sage demonstrated excellence in business education and a commitment to continuous improvement in its re-accreditation application said School of Management Dean Kimberly Fredericks, Ph.D. She said that her department has added Sport and Recreation Management and Professional Studies bachelor’s programs, and Executive and Entrepreneur-in-Residence positions since its original accreditation in 2014, and that the IACBE reviewers took special notice of her department’s strong ties to the community during the re-accreditation process.

Sage’s School of Management offers a Master of Business Administration, Master of Science in Health Services Administration and Master of Science in Organization Management as well as undergraduate degrees in Business Administration, Sport and Recreation Management and Organizational Management. Classes are offered online and on campus in traditional and reduced seat-time formats. For more information, visit sage.edu/management.

The International Accreditation Council for Business Education was founded in 1997 in response to higher education administrators, business program leaders and faculty who wanted an accreditation process that was mission-driven and outcomes based. The IACBE has hundreds of member institutions with campuses worldwide, and has accredited more than 1,800 business, accounting and business-related programs worldwide.
