- New Student Welcome
We know the news you received recently about Wells College’s closure may be overwhelming, and you want to figure out your next steps quickly. Russell Sage College, an affordable private college in the Capital Region of New York with more than 2,100 undergraduate and graduate students, would like to be a resource for you as you work out a new path to your degree.
Like Wells, we offer hands-on, practitioner-based learning to our students. Every undergraduate gains at least two significant resume-building experiences before they graduate – whether that’s clinicals, student teaching, service learning, undergraduate research, study abroad, or some other form of experiential learning. Living in the Capital Region of New York will also give you access to endless internship opportunities and employment after graduation should you choose to stay in the area.
Our transfer team will work closely with you to ensure a smooth transition toward your degree completion. We know you’ll want to get settled on where you’re headed in the fall soon, and we will provide you with answers quickly.
