Creating one of the region’s largest private institutions for higher education with the broadest catalog of programs in the health professions and strong programs in education, business, criminal justice, the sciences, pre-med, pre-health, and arts and humanities, Russell Sage College and Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (ACPHS) plan to merge.

Athletics at Sage

The Gators have 21 varsity programs and are a member of the NCAA in Division III. We are primarily a member of the Empire 8 Conference, while some programs compete in other conferences. To date, our Gator athletic teams have garnered seven NCAA tournament appearances.
